Arthur Murray Central New Jersey is Teaming up with the Cancer Hope Network for the Months of October and November
Nancy Dango was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 42. At a raffle during the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Nancy won eight free ballroom dance lessons. She and her husband walked into Arthur Murray Central New Jersey on a whim, and are still here in ten years later.
Breast Cancer Awareness
In honor of Nancy Dango and other women who have fought or are fighting breast cancer, AMCNJ is fundraising to help fund research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure.
For the months of October and November, AMCNJ is offering a special: two half-hour sessions for $39.00. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Cancer Hope Network, a nationwide charity based in New Jersey.
What is the Cancer Hope Network?
Cancer Hope Network is a national, non-profit group founded by Diane Byrnes-Paul in 1981. As her uncle underwent treatment for cancer, he told her the anguish and emotional pain of surviving a cancer diagnosis would have been greatly reduced if only he could have spoken to someone who had been through a similar cancer experience.
Something that Diane had heard before as an Oncology nurse, she created a network that provides one-on-one support to cancer patients and their families on a free and confidential basis through hundreds of trained Support Volunteers, all of whom are cancer survivors.
Non-sectarian, non-denominational, and not affiliated with any religious, political, or commercial entity, the Cancer Hope Network has worked for over 30 years training support volunteers who have themselves dealt with the challenge of diagnosis, treatment, survival and the emotional turmoil that goes with each stage.
Arthur Murray Central New Jersey and Cancer Hope Network are committed to ensuring that no one face cancer alone. Join us in the fight against cancer! Be an agent of change and do something for your own health here.
