Our Foundation (FDN) class is an excellent introduction to the fundamental ballroom steps. It is designed for beginner students and will help to build a strong foundation for your dancing future!
Tonight's dances are Waltz (W), Salsa (SAL), Cha Cha (CH).

In our Partnering technique class students will learn how leading & following interconnection works, including positions & postures, deciding & communicating a sequence of figures to be danced, listening for clear direction, and timing with “the third partner.”
Partnering is open to students enrolled in a Bronze I (or above) program or by invitation of the instructor.

Good practice makes perfect!
Join us for Practice Session where students have the opportunity to go over the steps they've picked up during one of their many semi-private sessions or individual lessons. An instructor will be present to help with steps that might need troubleshooting or to address other dance questions students may have.

Welcome to our Spring Tea Dance!
A new event for May, our Spring Tea Dance combines an afternoon social with a semi-private class. Come socialize with friends and fellow students while still getting in your afternoon dance lesson! It's the perfect way to spend a little of your afternoon with Arthur Murray Central New Jersey.
(If you'd like, bring a light refreshment to share -- not required, of course!)
Today's dances are Foxtrot (FT) & Cha Cha (CH).

Rhythm Novelties provides a new & exciting way of viewing familiar dances. Steps, patterns, combinations, partnering, floor craft, musicality, technique -- everything gets a whole new spin!
Rhythm Novelties is open to students enrolled in a Bronze 1 (or above) program or by invitation of the instructor.

Musicality teaches students all the aspects that go behind achieving the character, rhythmicality, and feel of a dance. Students will learn how to differentiate timing, how to play with syncopations, and how to understand different lead & follow musicality techniques.
Musicality is open to students enrolled in a Bronze 1 (or above) program or by invitation of the instructor.

In Arthur's Kids-Beginner, young dancers are introduced to various ballroom dances. They learn the basic dance steps, feel rhythm & timing of different music & dance styles, and start to understand leading & following.
